Swiss Vault is thrilled to share details about our groundbreaking #EDGE Data project aimed at revolutionizing healthcare with innovative solutions for smart wound bandages and incontinence briefs

We are privileged to work with a stellar team from Infineon Technologies AG, Essity Hygiene and Health AB, eesy-innovation GmbH, Inpher, Technical University Hamburg, Gdańsk University of Technology, Würth Elektronik Group, BSN Medical GmbH, accensors GmbH, Fraunhofer IIS, Vulpés Electronics GmbH, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB, Screentec Oy, Tampereen Korkeakoulusaatio SR, University of Gothenburg, CAN, Nederlandse Organisatie voor Toegepast Natuurwetenschappelijk Onderzoek TNO, CISC. to push the boundaries of medical technology:

👩🏼‍⚕️ Smart Wound Bandages: these bandages come with integrated sensors that monitor biomarkers, providing real-time insights into the healing process. This innovation promises to enhance patient care by enabling more precise and timely interventions.

💡 Smart Incontinence Briefs: the development of incontinence products with built-in sensors that monitor usage and potentially biomarkers in urine. These smart diapers will report critical information to caregivers, ensuring better health management for our elderly population.

Swiss Vault has developed an advanced Edge Computing Node that will securely capture, store and process the continuous streams of vital sensor data at the Edge.

This approach ensures:
– Higher Security: managing sensitive patient data at the Edge, reduces the risk of data breaches and enhances privacy.
– Faster Compute: enable rapid processing and analysis of sensor data, ensuring timely and effective responses.
– AI Inference: Leveraging AI at the Edge will facilitate smarter, data-driven decision-making, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
With our partners, we aim to reduce the environmental footprint of the combined solution. Stay tuned for more updates as we progress on this exciting journey!
